Hi Betty, So glad to see your work at Capturing the Great Blue Heron! There is wonderful composition in this photo - the yellow blossoms in the foreground so like the eye...nice work.

Thank you, Mary. I began stalking this bird over 80 yard away, moving ever so slowly, snapping in case it was my last shot. The bird liked my slow creep I guess, because it allowed me quite close.
