What a wonderful photo! I've found male cardinals to be a very difficult subject to photograph. And this one in such a beautiful background too.

I appreciate such a thoughtful comment, Robert. I had the perfect setup...severe weather, nearby feeders, and me crouched on my patio. When food is scarce because of snow or ice, these birds are less shy.

My father would have loved this card, Betty. This was his favorite bird, next to the American Goldfinch. Your work is exceptionally lovely.
