Thanks, Carolyn. Interesting story here. I'd gone to a neighbor's house to see the tiny pond he installed in his back yard. This dragonfly landed right in front of me. I raced home, got my Nikon, and he waited for his portrait opportunity. LOL!

Thank you, Thomas. I chased these all summer, and finally one let me approach in my back yard. Normally they were just zooming through the air chasing bugs.
